Event Five

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Men’s Health & Wellness Resource Fair

The Men’s Health & Wellness Resource Fair is part of Men’s Health Week (June 9-15, 2025) and aims to address critical health issues facing Black and Brown men, while promoting health equity and access to vital resources in our community.

Event Highlights include:

  • Panel Discussion (12:00PM – 1:00 PM):

Moderated by BWOF CEO & Founder, Clarence D. Castile. A diverse panel of healthcare professionals will discuss key topics such as mental health resources, preventive care, chronic illnesses prevalent in Black and Brown communities, and tips for a healthy lifestyle—including nutrition and fitness. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions and gain expert insights.

  • Free Health Screenings:

Attendees can receive essential health assessments, including blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol checks, to foster awareness and encourage proactive health management.

  • Community Resources:

Multiple local health organizations and community partners will showcase programs and services supporting men’s health, including counseling, nutrition guidance, and wellness initiatives. Visitors are encouraged to visit booths and engage with providers directly.

Who Should Attend?

This event is open to men from Black and Brown communities, their families, and anyone interested in learning more about health and wellness issues impacting these populations. All ages—fathers, brothers, mentors, and community members—are welcome.

Goals of the Event:

  • Raise awareness of health disparities affecting Black and Brown men.

  • Increase access to health screenings and community resources.

  • Promote open conversations around mental and physical health.

  • Support and encourage regular health check-ups to improve overall well-being.
